How to Use

Press Ctrl + Shift + P to execute extension commands and search for liveports.

You will see two commands in the list liveports-share and liveports-connect. If you are running something on your localhost, for example a live server you can share it with the liveports-share command.

liveports-share

  • Choosing this command will give you two option, in the first option enter the port that your server is running on live host.

  • In the second option enter the address it is running on. It can be localhost, 127.0.0.1, 198.15.62.0 or anything that is running on your local system.

liveports-connect

  • First option will prompt you to enter a connection Key which you generate by using the liveports-share command. Use liveports-connect command on the computer that you want to view as a client.

  • Second option will prompt you to enter a Port, choose the port where you want to preview the website on. Default port is 8000
