There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. |

+1 I would like to be able to control the direction of swing like you can in the app. |
I found a way to get it working - Gree Extension for Home-Assistant built in integration installed via HACS. It lets you move the swing position via a service call - Works really well |
That is a nice workaround but I think it should be fixed in the native integration, thanks for letting me know. |
I do agree that the GREE Native integration should offer these capabilities. |

The problem
It is not possible to choose a fixed vertical or horizontale positions, only swing modes.
