LD2410C sensor not discovered #88404
Comments
Hey there @930913, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration ( Code owner commandsCode owners of
(message by CodeOwnersMention) ld2410_ble documentation |
You didn't change the password on the ld2410? |
The original PW is: HiLink Firmware version is: 1.07.22091516 |
And it is baked into the code at this point, so if you change it (say via the app) it will probably not work with HA |
same issue here. tried it with new unused LD2410C. IOS has no issues and password is not changed. I used ESPHome Bluetooth Proxies and Shelly Plus. neither of them worked with HA. |
I am having the same issue. For me, restarting the integration helped. But the issue is intermittent, there seems to an issue with the integration, probably. |
I think you cannot run the app and the bluetooth integration at the same time. |
You don't seem to be able to run the app and the integration at the same time. I am definitely seeing better results when the device is connected to my HA NUC than if it is trying to connect to a Bluetooth Proxy (although this may be down to the lower power of the ESP32 devices) |
that's why I tried the new ones only with HA and not with the app, to be sure nothing else is connected. I have HA running in a VM, so I was hoping Bluetooth proxy on esp32 or Shelly would work. |
The 2410 has added a light-sensing function, query command 0x00AE, and update the latest Android app to obtain relevant update records. |
Yes, that is great (light sensor). You need to instasll FW2.x via the android app. |
is only the android app able to update the firmware, or are the other options? Since the last iOS app update, the app crashes when trying to connect |
There is an updated iOS version 1.2.0 out. Offers upgrade option to 2.01.23021611 (Chinese UI). Doesn't crash anymore |
that's the one where the app startet crashing for me. I will wait for the next update and finish some other projects first ;) |
I have the same issue with 5 LD2410C devices. They do not seem to communicate via serial but do function via Bluetooth. |
Hi same issue here:
I tried many times to reload HA, ESPHome integration, the BlueTooth Proxies (2 of them created using generic ESP32 DevKit) Just to be sure that the LD2410C is still broadcasting I used an ESP32 with the BLE Scanner. The device is active and broadcasting periodically as expected. |
There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. |
The problem
The LD2410C sensor with default settings is not discovered. Sensor itself works well with iOS App.
ESPHome Bluetooth proxy works with other BLE devices.
