You didn't change the password on the ld2410?

You didn't change the password on the ld2410?

The original PW is: HiLink
which is not modified. Is it the same as with the LD2410B ?

Firmware version is: 1.07.22091516

And it is baked into the code at this point, so if you change it (say via the app) it will probably not work with HA

same issue here. tried it with new unused LD2410C. IOS has no issues and password is not changed. I used ESPHome Bluetooth Proxies and Shelly Plus. neither of them worked with HA.

I am having the same issue. For me, restarting the integration helped. But the issue is intermittent, there seems to an issue with the integration, probably.

I think you cannot run the app and the bluetooth integration at the same time.

You don't seem to be able to run the app and the integration at the same time. I am definitely seeing better results when the device is connected to my HA NUC than if it is trying to connect to a Bluetooth Proxy (although this may be down to the lower power of the ESP32 devices)

@mibbi1802

that's why I tried the new ones only with HA and not with the app, to be sure nothing else is connected. I have HA running in a VM, so I was hoping Bluetooth proxy on esp32 or Shelly would work.

The 2410 has added a light-sensing function, query command 0x00AE, and update the latest Android app to obtain relevant update records.

Yes, that is great (light sensor). You need to instasll FW2.x via the android app.
Still, the integration has relatively huge problems in finding / initialising / using the sensors. Reloadint the integration and / or reloading core helps, sometimes.

@mibbi1802

is only the android app able to update the firmware, or are the other options? Since the last iOS app update, the app crashes when trying to connect

There is an updated iOS version 1.2.0 out. Offers upgrade option to 2.01.23021611 (Chinese UI). Doesn't crash anymore

@mibbi1802

that's the one where the app startet crashing for me. I will wait for the next update and finish some other projects first ;)

I have the same issue with 5 LD2410C devices. They do not seem to communicate via serial but do function via Bluetooth.
Have three of the LD2410 Kit boards connected to a WIN10 computer and the HiLink app and all communicate correctly with LD2410B devices but not any LD2410C devices. I have also tried a D1 mini programmed with a compiled version of Tasmota 12.4.0 for LD2410. Strange results here. At first connection some communication via serial but erratic, slow, and repeating information I. E. not updating with movement for 1 min or so then another set of data would be displayed for a min or two. Not updating instantly like the Bluetooth output. Very slow. Then after configuring MQTT and rebooting, no serial communications ever again from that device. Repeated this with three devices (LD2410C only) then stopped trying. All these LD2410C devices continued to function with Bluetooth via Iphone and HiLink app. All LD2410B devices work correctly.

Hi same issue here:

  • I tried a LD2410C device that has been discovered but I decided to ignore.

  • After a while I restarted HA. The device has been re-discovered again but it han not been possible to connect.
    Many tests reloading HA and ESPHome integrations, powering off the device didn't give any success.

  • Now the device is not discovered any longer.

I tried many times to reload HA, ESPHome integration, the BlueTooth Proxies (2 of them created using generic ESP32 DevKit)
The Bluetooth proxies are forwarding data from ATC Temp/Hum sensors (4 of them) without any problems.

Just to be sure that the LD2410C is still broadcasting I used an ESP32 with the BLE Scanner. The device is active and broadcasting periodically as expected.
No change has been made on the LD2410C (factory config)
