ZHA: Devices do not show in Automations interface, unless you navigate from the ZHA device itself

The problem

Migrated from Deconz to ZHA.

IKEA Switches that show in ZHA cannot be added to automations via the automation interface UNLESS you start the automation building from the device itself.

See attached screenshots (one making an automation direct from ZHA, one from Create automation button in automation menu)

Note the Xioami Switches i have attached also via ZHA CAN be selected in the new automation triggers fine.
