Fix Google Tasks parsing of remove responses

Proposed change

Fix a bug handling the responses for a Google Task remove operation. The response returns an empty string which doesn't work with json.loads, so handle the empty string case explicitly.

Updated test harness to exercise this use case which reproduces the issue and verifies the fix.
