Proposed change
Part of the UI roadmap. Removing a failed node is pretty straight forward, either it gets removed or it doesn't. Replace failed node is a combo of removing a failed node and adding a node, and the logic should reflect that.
I am not able to test this on my local network but I have asked @cgarwood to do so.
