Editing a badge in "view configuration" YAML view causes all badges to be lost

Describe the issue you are experiencing

All badges are lost when making changes in the "view configuration" YAML view.

Describe the behavior you expected

The changes made in YAML view should persist.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Open configuration for a view and switch to the "Badges" tab
2. Add a badge by selecting it from the "Entity" dropdown
3. Click three dots in top right and then "Edit in YAML"
4. Make any change to the badge list (e.g. adding a new badge, adding a name property to the entry you just added)
5. All badges are lost on pressing "Save"

Note: switching back to the visual editor before saving shows that all badges have been lost. This also does not happen when making changes via the "Raw configuration editor" for a dashboard.
