I followed the Generic X86-64 guidelines to install Home Assistant on a Dell R210II server.
I went the host OS route.
The Dell server have an 2 ethernet connection ports on Broadcom NetXtreme 5709 Dual Port Gigabit Ethernet NIC.
Booting from the USB into Ubuntu or other OS worked fine. There i downloaded Balena Etcher and flashed the internal SSD of the server. That all went fine too, rebooted the computer and it booted into Home Assistant. The only problem is that it doesn’t connect to the network.
With error:
Can’t load firmware file "bnx2/bnx2-mips-09-6.2.1b.fw
Can’t load firmware file "bnx2/bnx2-mips-09-6.2.3.fw
It doesn’t seem like HA sees the ethernet connection.
Is there a way to make it see the ethernet connection or install drivers on HA?
