An iffy implementation of Home Assistant integration for a Waterway Plastics Oasis pool controller.

Installation:

• Add these lines to your configuration.yaml

homeassistant:
  packages:
    waterway: !include waterway/waterway.yaml

• Throw the waterway folder into your config/.

• Change all instances of my ip (192.168.22.5) to your pool controller's ip.

• Edit waterway.yaml to comment out the things you don't need and uncomment out the things you do (lone pool vs spillover system). Edit the other switches to customize for your pool's relays/valves.

For example, if you have a valve connected to j2, you would add a switch like this:

      pool_waterfeature:
        friendly_name: "Pool Water Feature"
        value_template: "{{ is_state_attr('sensor.pool', 'j2', '1') }}"
        turn_on:
          - service: rest_command.pool_j2
        turn_off:
          - service: rest_command.pool_j2
        icon_template: "mdi:fountain"

Or if you have other lights, heaters, or accessories on a the 3rd aux relay:

      bbq_light:
        friendly_name: "BBQ Light"
        value_template: "{{ is_state_attr('sensor.pool', 'aux3', '1') }}"
        turn_on:
          - service: rest_command.pool_aux3
        turn_off:
          - service: rest_command.pool_aux3
        icon_template: mdi:lightbulb

This code will need to be modified and addapted to your pool's setup. For the most part, you can't break anything but I take no responsibility for your pool equipment. For example, my pool is a solar panel heated Spa/Pool overflow configuration. This changes the way j1, j2, & j3 valve controls work.
