  • Distribution (with version): Fedroa 28
  • Base distribution (if have, with version): -
  • Desktop environment (with version): GNOME 3.28.3
  • Arc version/commit (don't put "latest"): 20170302
  • GTK+ 3 version: 3.22.30
  • Murrine engine version: I don't know how to get this.
  • gnome-themes-standard version: I don't know how to get this, too.
  • Installation method (package or source): package (dnf install...)

Hey there.
I think I have encountered to a bug! See these screen shots at first:

1. With default gnome shell theme:
screenshot from 2018-05-03 21-04-17

2. With arc-dark gnome-shell theme:
screenshot from 2018-04-20 14-48-44

See that!?
In fact when the arc theme is enabled there are a lots of white spaces after the window title bar in overview mode.

P S. Also it depends on the title-bar length! Actually the more title bar is longer, the more longer unnecessary white space are present after titles!

P S. I'm sure that, this problem is due to arc-theme (not any gnome-shell extensions or something else...)

You have an too old version of arc-theme. For me it looks all correct.

There's a slight spacing, but from what I've read it seems it's a Gnome Shell issue.

Please close this issue and if it still exists with the newer fork, please open anotherone there.

Thanks for your reply guys!
@NicoHood Actually I just installed the arc-theme from Fedora Workstation official repositories and I didn't know that newer forks exist. In addition it seems this project is dead because the creator didn't commit since May 2017 and also the keeper of package in Fedora Workstation official repositories didn't update the package!
@Ufeldraku I'm sure this issue is from theme, not gnome-shell. Trust me!
@NicoHood OK. thanks.

I have the same white spaces on adwaita.

@Ufeldraku It works fine in adwaita theme (i.e. I don't have the white spaces in adwaita) for me and I just have this issue on arc-dark theme!
How about your active gnome-shell extensions?
Can you list all of the enabled extension that you are using with adwaita?
Is there any part of gnome-shell that could be related to this issue (e.g. application theme, etc)?

@Bonsitar Don't worry my dude, I had to dig though a lot of googling to find it, though.
