At the risk of starting a bikeshedding discussion...
There's one thing that has bothered me about the logo from day one, which is that these gaps were not symmetric:
the PR fixes this, and makes the color a little bit less desaturated, because right now it looks super drab (but I am happy to take that part out if people hate it).
