This is the backend component of the Student aid Platform, a platform built using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB to assist financially disadvantaged students in fundraising for education. The backend integrates a Student Verification System and a secure Payment Gateway using SSLCOMMERZ.
To install and run the backend of the Fundraising Platform, follow these steps:

Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/hr-sobuj/student-aid-api.git

Navigate to the project directory:
cd student-aid-api

Install the required dependencies:
npm install

Set up the environment variables:

Create a
.env
file in the project root directory. -
Add the following variables to the
.env

Replace
your-mongodb-connection-uri
with the URI for your MongoDB database,your-store-id
with your SSLCOMMERZ Store ID, andyour-store-password
with your SSLCOMMERZ Store Password.

Start the development server:
npm start
The backend server will be accessible at
http://localhost:3000
.
