What happens?

Game runs slow on default settings with or without buffering and with or without frame skips (be it set to auto or manual). Sometimes it reaches 99%, most of the times it’s around 75% and often drops below 40%.

Are there any recommendations on how to properly run this game, if any?

What should happen?

Should run at 100% on 30fps.

What hardware, operating system, and PPSSPP version? On desktop, GPU matters for graphical issues.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14.2, PPSSPP git commit b9dd866.

Thanks!

Wipeout Pure runs at 60 FPS with some frame drops to 30 FPS, In Time Trial, Zone and Free Play modes it caps the frame rate to 30 FPS.

@mkozjak have you lowered the resolution to 1x?

@Panderner yes, res on 1x with the rest set to default.

Same performance with disabled buffering, frameskip auto and all speed and performance hacks enabled. Tops at most to 90%.

This might just be a factor of not having jit on iOS. Are you using Interpreter or IR Interpreter? Or was this with jit, since you were on iOS 14.2?

It may help if you post screenshots while "Show debug statistics" is enabled in settings. A few screenshots are best because the numbers and data there can jump around.
