Trying to map the d-pad keys to either analog stick on the 360 controller works, but sometimes using left/down on either analog stick which was mapped acts as if you're keeping the d-pad key pressed even if you just "tap" it on the analog stick.

(doesnt happen with the right/up mapped keys, and tried 2 different xbox 360 controllers with same results)

On another note, maybe add an option to map the d-pad to the right analog stick on gamepads? would help with games that use the d-pad as camera.

Controls are being given one last tweak by @hrydgard at the moment, which results in certain oddities, none of them intentional.

Just gotta be patient while @hrydgard works his magic, rest assured, he will get them all.

You can already do this: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4739&pid=35248#pid35248

You can do it manually yeah (well if it doesnt just keep pressing the same direction), but an option that just enables it would be nice cause otherwise that right analog stick would be doing nothing by default. Just an option anyway.

I tried to set the up/down/left/right keyboard keys to the right analog stick on joy2key with the 360 controller, this fixed the problem with left/down. However since you can change the dead zone with joy2key, I tried removing it completely, which reproduced the problem and made it even worse so I guess the problem is dead zone related somehow.
