It appears randomly, for a very short moment, on Great Thunderbugs (the small purple light), in High Rank quests.
It's always this green color (looks like a #00FF00 green).
The log says nothing about the issue...

Here is it :

Is this new or is it present in older versions?

I noticed this glitch by surprise, more than one month ago, but I haven't tested it before, so I don't know when it has appeared for the first time...

Maybe someone else could add better information :)

The problem is that this glitch appears only in specific conditions, as I stated in my issue above...

@vnctdj: Could you post your savedata here? Might make reproducing this for others easier.

Yes, this appears when you move the camera, indeed :)

Can anyone try this in the software renderer (it should be okay to load the same savestate), and see if it happens there? It will be very slow.

Also, do hardware transform, vertex cache, or any of the texture caching options help this? I would try turning them all off.

Also (not in the software renderer), if you're able to reproduce it and "catch" it with the GE debugger, it'd really help to know what all the tabs of the GE debugger look like when it's drawing this green thing, if there's a texture shown on the left side, and what type of "prim" it is shown on (might be a bezier/spline, probably not.)

To find out, hit "Step Tex" a bunch and when it's drawn most of the scene start pressing "Step Prim" until it looks like it's about to draw the green thing.

I can't test with the software renderer, it makes the games unplayable, just look at this screenshot :

I tried disabling hardware transform and vertex cache and the issue seemed to disappear ! :)

Here is what I get with the GE debugger :

I'm sorry but I don't know how to send you the tabs content, can you tell me ? :-/

Well, right now the only way is screenshots of each tab, heh.

That's interesting. So the texture is mostly green, but there's a not green block. And, it only happens in hardware transform. This sounds like a similar issue to the other ones that appear to be rounding issues - it's probably just picking up some of the green by rounding a texture coordinate or something?

Linear and texture wrapping with that green, huh? And no color test to speak of...

I don't understand what it means for you, unfortunately... :-$
But I can provide other stuff if you need :)

I think the recent wrapping/clamping may fix this. Does it still happen?
