Description

Preparations for delegated settlement may be implemented in order to limit the amount of contracts redeployed when full support for delegated settlement is in place. This issue describes the assessment of where preparations may be favorable.

A delegated settlement goes may go as follows:

Alice starts on a settlement challenge. Bob intervenes and takes over the settlement. Alice' settled and staged balances will be updated as described in the settlement challenge minus reward to Bob without Alice having to wait for the completion of the challenge. Upon completion of the settlement challenge Bob may settle the challenged driip.
