There’s some buzzwords we invented to describe some of the concepts that relate to Hayst.ac.

Obese Sister: The corporate equivalent to Big Brother, Obese Sister hoards lots of personal information about you and is only a subpeona away from coughing it all up to Big Brother. Example: Google. Coined by supertunaman.

Puddle Computing: Unlike Cloud Computing, which requires you to trust that what a web server is doing is what you think its doing, a puddle computing application is rained down to your browser from The Cloud, up close where you can see, control it, and know exactly what you’re splashing around in. Coined by huertanix.

Binge: Cutesy nickname for Bing, Microsoft’s newest search engine. Coined by phrkonlsh.

Clickthrough: A logged click on a search results page, such as on the Google search results page. Coined by cybersauce.
