The express-messages module provides flash notification rendering. To use simply assign it to a dynamic helper:
msgs = require('express-messages')({'messages_class': 'alert-message', 'close_buttons': true});
app.dynamicHelpers({ messages: msgs});
$ npm install express-messages
Then in a view you may output the notifications based on your templating engine:
<%- messages() %>
!= messages()
Which outputs HTML as shown below:
