Looks ok to me... perhaps we should adjust the makefile to work with markdown too? And also remove the latex files? This additional cleanup could certainly be done in a separate PR. |

The new expanded outline was converted to Markdown. The individual content from the Tex files have been incorporated into the new outline. We basically have one file to work with at this point which is the new "outline.md" file.
The README was also updated.
