JACK CV out (modular control signal)?

JACK (and LV2) have CV signal capability, i.e, port hints for an audio rate control stream that mostly go from 0-1fp but can do 1fp/oct like for MOD gear/plugins (as there is no clipping inside the JACK graph).

It would be sweet if Hydrogen could act as a modular step sequencer to address an LV2 modular setup like this or an external rack (with the appropriate DAC).

I'm not quite sure if I get you right. Do you suggest to make the automation path of Hydrogen available as JACK port and mark it with the "CV" metadata type?

An option to enable separate Hydrogen JACK CV output ports for each instrument there is that send out a 1fp CV trigger (or gate?) signal when there is a note.

There is also opportunity for CV input ports for dynamic modulation of the automation types.
