The current debian package excepts that python 2 is available, but python 2 is obsolete and no longer in debian:

$sudo apt install ./cjdns_0.20_amd64.deb
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Note, selecting 'cjdns' instead of './cjdns_0.20_amd64.deb'
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
cjdns : Depends: python (>= 2.7) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Furthermore, the version number (0.20) is not longer up to date.
