With #321, FireFly will come with a Prometheus metrics exporter listening on its own port. The Helm chart needs to be updated to include the following:

  • support for templating / configuring the metrics config of FireFly itself
  • exposing the metrics server port on the StatefulSet, and a corresponding Service for the metrics server
  • annotating the metrics Service for Prometheus scraping
  • having a toggle-able ServiceMonitor if folks have the Prometheus operator installed
