##Lost revocation code:

  • Scenario 1: if u have the maFiles Folder, you can try and decrypt the .maFile (if u added an encryption) using this app, after that open the file with Notepad and search revocation_code

  • Scenario 2: if u have Backup Steam Guard Codes, you can remove your Authenticator using one of those codes (I didn't test this, it should work)

##Lost Backup Steam Guard Codes:

  • get them again from steam

##Lost Steam Desktop Authenticator encryption passkey:

  • Your Authenticator is gone, remove it from Steam

##I Lost my "manifest.json"

  • "manifest.json" is not needed if your data is decrypted or encrypted with app version 1.0.4.0 or higher

##I Lost ".maFile"

  • your Authenticator is gone if u don't have a backup.
  • If u imported your account from an Android Device u can import it again.
  • If u cant re-add your .maFile, Remove your Authenticator from Steam

##Other situations:

  • Your account is gone. Don't lose your data!!! always make backups!!!
  • If you can't fix your Steam Desktop Authenticator and you can't remove it, the only option is to send a ticket to Steam Support and say you lost your mobile authenticator and the revocation code.

For older version than 1.0.4.0

##I Lost my "maFiles: folder or ".maFile" or "manifest.json" "manifest.json" is needed only if your data is encrypted

  • If you have a backup of the "maFiles" folder, restore your account from there
  • or
  • If you extracted your account from your Android Device, you can do it again
  • or
  • Remove your Authenticator from Steam
