I don’t see a link to logs.i3wm.org. Did you follow http://i3wm.org/docs/debugging.html? (In case you actually provided a link to a logfile, please ignore me.) |
I don’t see a version number. Could you please copy & paste the output of |
We don't support 4.7.2 anymore. Update to the latest version, preferably the development version, and see if the bug is still there. |
See http://i3wm.org/docs/repositories.html for Ubuntu repositories. |
Well, I've updated my version( to 4.10.1-36-g1431ea6), and it worked for a short while, but now the bug seems to have come back. |
@DrPyser In the logfile you provided I don’t see anything related to chrome and flash. Can you provide a logfile and the stdout/stderr output of chrome when this happens? Also, can you reproduce the issue in awesome or openbox? |
Same happening here! Before switching from Ubuntu I'll try to attach Chrome logs |

Hi.
I have Ubuntu 14.04..
I have many wm installed(e.g. cinnamon), and when I'm using i3, pretty much any application usually using flash player(e.g. YouTube, Gmail, etc) crash, warning there's a problem with Shockwave Flash. Even when I deactivate in the the google chrome's settings, which should force YouTube to use html5 instead, it still crashes(without error message).
i3 version: 4.7.2 (2014-01-23, branch "tags/4.7.2")
