I'm having trouble getting virtual access points working. is this supported on dir-1760? thanks!

Yes it is. I doubt there’s something wrong with the firmware because I have VAPs running on the latest build without issues. I’m busy for the next week or so, and i plan to spend whatever time I have left on trimming the 6.1 kernel which is still 500kb too big.
