Known limitations

PlexConnect does not support enhanced PMS security features. Therefore:

1. You can't use Secure connections = Required in PMS network settings (otherwise PlexConnect will always use remote connections to access PMS). Secure connections = Preferred is recommended
2. You can't use remote libraries (owned or shared) hosted in a PMS that has Strict TLS configuration enabled (access is permited, thumbnails and fanart will not be shown, and play fails)

Warning

The localization system that allowed PlexConnect translations was discontinued. Therefore translations can't be updated and some new functionalities, such as Live TV & DVR, can't be translated.

A huge thanks to @Fish2, @izznogooood, @wahlmanj and of course to @iBaa and @roidy, whose latest changes and support were key to make 0.6 available.

v0.5 - year 2014 is coming to its end.

Major improvements:

• Revamped Audio/Music handling (for iOS>=7.0. That version got a new XML audio player... thanks Beats!)
• GUI improvements: Fanart, Backgrounds... (needs PIL/Pillow library for Python)
• Playlists support (video/audio): continuous play, shuffle, also for TVShow/Season/Episodes
• Save ATVSettings.cfg after changes

v0.4 - things are pretty stable, aren't they?

Current state - release with a couple of known issues:

• Subtitle renderer: sync issue after RW/FF/jumping in the file - currently blaming PMS/transcoder?!?
• Stacked files: resume into subsequent parts - aTV's "playlist" doesn't seem to support that.
• Audio replay: only one song in a row. :-(
