Beta version 0.4.0b2 not presenting correct fields #245

Indeed. I finally figured out how to install a specific git repo version, so moved to 0.4.0b2 after installation. When I got to the standard integrations screen and click Configure, I get...
I then click Submit and get a broken dialog it seems...
The link actually just closes the dialog and routes back to my Home Assistant integrations page. Any ideas? :) |

To add, I have also tried the language to English (not (GB)) and this did not work. I did check using VS Code Server and the file mentioned in another issue isn't there. |

So a final note. I followed the instructions and placed the URL in the first textbox and the cookie value in the second textbox and it did succeed and pulled back my Nest Protects, so the integration is working, just the setup is a little bunked. :) |

I tried that and it didn't work for me. I ended up going back to the
previous beta and it worked as expected.

I have an issue , whenever i restart my Home assistant i loose everything and i get the message Failed Setup, will retry , anyone got the same issue ? Thanks |

Yes, I have the same issue. I am able to setup things fine using the integration at https://github.com/iMicknl/ha-nest-protect which leverages https://github.com/chrisjshull/homebridge-nest with the issueToken and Cookie. But when I restart HA, it breaks, with error 2023-08-08 22:04:11.507 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.config_entries] Config entry 'Nest Protect' for nest_protect integration not ready yet: USER_LOGGED_OUT; Retrying in background This was working fine before for over a year and started happening when I upgraded to HA 2023.8.1 . |
Cool so i am no the only one ! I don't think if the developer is still active or not , can you raise a new issue if possible because i am not very familiar with the Github ? Thanks . |

Thanks for reporting. I will have a look at it, but won't be very soon. Regarding the other open issues for the cookie method, I am not the official author of the cookie method and there are too many issues with it to move it away from beta at the moment. Great to have these issues documented, so when I (or someone else) has time, people can contribute. |

Which language do people use, that face issues with no field labels? I cannot reproduce with language set to English and Dutch.

This issue still persists as of Sep.10,'23 re: "authorize your account" link spits out an "Access blocked: Nest’s request is invalid" error message. Are there any known work arounds to this problem? |

"Authorize your account" is not present in this branch, so I am not sure where this is coming from. @Andries I’m running v0.4.0b1 and it solved the issue I was having of not being able to fully integrate. This was previously rolled back from v0.4.0b2. Everything works great on b1.
