Vision

To democratize access to high-quality informatics and computational thinking education, fostering a technology-empowered future for Indonesia on the global stage. We envision a future where every individual in Indonesia, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn, compete, and excel in informatics, contributing to the country's technological growth and advancement.

Mission

Our mission is to bridge the digital divide in Indonesia by providing accessible, high-quality education in informatics and computational thinking. We strive to create a platform that delivers a comprehensive suite of resources, from a reliable online judging system to a diverse problem bank and in-depth learning courses. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and stimulating environment that nurtures talent and encourages competition, catering to everyone from students to professionals. By democratizing access to these resources, we aim to empower individuals to contribute to Indonesia's technological growth, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Goal

Our short-term goal is to generate a consistent revenue of Rp 100mio/month to cover operational costs and continue providing our services uninterrupted. We aim to increase our monthly contest attendance to at least 150 Indonesian participants.

Our long-term goal is to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our platform, facilitating the recruitment of talented individuals and enabling us to broaden our scope of work in helping Indonesia grow through informatics. We are committed to continuous improvement and adaptation to meet the needs of our users and to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in the field.

Principle

  • Democratization of Access: We should ensure open access to resources. This means that we should strive to keep as many of our resources as possible free or affordable, and seek to remove barriers to access.
    • Possible loophole here is to give our products for free (online judge, DSA material), but we sell the implementation (through people and training) for a premium.
  • Quality and Excellence: We should commit to maintaining a high standard of quality in all our resources and activities. This includes everything from the problems we pose in contests to the courses we provide.
  • Community Building and Collaboration: We should aim to build a strong, supportive community around our platform. This might involve hosting events or forums to facilitate networking and collaboration, and fostering a culture of mutual help and respect among our users.
  • Transparency and Integrity: We should operate with transparency and integrity in all our activities. This might involve being open about our operations and finances, treating all our users and partners fairly, and standing up for what we believe in, even when it's difficult.
  • Sustainability: We should aim for financial sustainability, to ensure we can continue to provide our resources and support our mission in the long term. This might involve seeking diverse sources of funding, such as sponsorships and grants, in addition to any income from paid services.

Current Strategy

  • We'll try top 5 strategy options (business model, with their existing customer persona, and existing channel we know) that we can try in the next three months. Please look at Q2 2023 Strategy for details of what we are trying.
  • We then evaluate the viability, scalability and operationability of the options. We want the one with the least amount of operation but also doesn't violate our guiding principle.
  • By the end of Q2-Q3 2023, we should pick at most 2 strategies that have the least resistance, operation-wise, but will give us a sustainable funding source.
