trouble installing bio

I am currently going through the biostar handbook to acquire as much knowledge as possible for NGS.
When i try to install "bio" in the environment, which was created to go through this book, it puts out an error:

installing it outside of this environment works though.

any suggestions.

this probably means you are running Python 3.6 an enviroment created in older versions of the book

the new versions of the book will install Python 3.8,

BioPython 1.80 supports only Python 3.8 and later

a solution would be to update your python

 mamba install python==3.8

but that would probably churn for a while and might cause various hiccups as every library would be updated

I would instead create a new enviromment that has python 3.8 from the start

thank you very much. i created a new env with only "bio" because make a full environment from the newer version of the book did not work anymore for me. still, i just have two tabs open for now.
