About The Project

What is M.A.R.S ?

M.A.R.S. AI based chatbot solution to serve user's queries related to the past IPL matches based on a given dataset. The project was built for the VIT Hack hackathon conducted during graVITas'20 from 9th to 11th October. The problem statement was given by Gravitas AI under the theme of Open Innovation.

How it works

1. Each match is uniquiely identified on the basis of its match date.

2. The bot serves the initial query based on the date and then maintains the context throughout the session.

3. It also keeps track of the recent queries and provides a seamless way to switch context to maintain the conversation flow.

4. Built over the powerful AWS Lex, the bot has the same capabilities to predict the user sentiments as the Amazon Alexa.
