Is it possible to set JWT token as header in the connection settings?

It seems this project is no more updated. Last commit in Jan 2017.

Hey guys! Sorry about that; decided to remove irrelevant discussion for this issue.

I'm going to be actively maintaining this repo for a little while, and this is definitely a feature we'd like to keep in the scope of the project! If you'd like to go ahead and submit a PR then I'd be happy to review it, otherwise I'll try and get to this in the next week or so :)

The documentation says that the extra header capabilities is with the polling transport (I believe is the one that this plugin runs), but it requires at least socket.io client version 2.0.0, @sam3d can you just pump up the versions and test? I actually don.t have idea how to do it 😞
