Reason

Directed energy deposition (DED) process modeling has been developed to a certain degree, with codes scattered across different apps and local branches. Efforts will be made towards integrating them into Malamute.

Design

  • Add specific material, userObjects, and examples
  • Add associated documentation and tutorial pages

Impact

Benefit all users/developers who are interested in DED modeling
