When a user logs in ( say my Admin (@Xandaros) ) his username is the exact same as his existing account and shows to be duplicated.

NodeBB mentions the duplication and says it altered it, but it changed it to the same. As I've posted in the forums, would there be a nice way for people to link their steam accounts to their existing accounts, and anyway for usernames containing special characters to be able to log in.

Sorry if some of this is repeated info.
