Menu hotkey support?

Currently you can select items by navigating to them with the arrow keys and pressing Enter. However, it would be nice to have hotkeys to let you quickly select them with the keyboard. E. g.

< (H)ome timeline > 
< (L)ocal public timeline >
< (G)lobal public timeline >

so you could press G,H to go to the home timeline, G,L to go to the local timeline, etc.

However, if this would be too confusing for users or complicated to implement, I understand.
