As already discussed, just as reminder/extension and not before HM'23 ;)

  • define a naming scheme for generated containers (platform, apps, allApps, device-specific)
  • define a versioning scheme, e.g., app-container -> app version + latest, allApps -> platform version + latest, platform containers -> platform version + latest (both as industry personnel likes to have versioned and archivable software)
  • apply naming scheme to container generation
  • apply versioning scheme to container generation, if required, add a Docker version command to EASy and use it only in docker-specific VIL/VTL files
  • document schmemes in platform handbook
