To allow setting colours from the command line
To allow setting font from the command line
To allow the position and size of the overlay windows to be flexibly customized from the command line.
Use more conventional format for colours and allow alpha to be omitted. Also perform premultiplication on colours as X11 expects.
Make sdfjkl the default

This PR includes the changes from the other PR as well as two more which I left out because they break backwards compatibility; however here they are if you are interested!
With both PRs, I totally understand if you are not interested in merging or maintaining this code, but here you go just in case. Feedback is more than welcome as well of course!
