I use deck for release notes. A couple of users (Mac Pro, Mac Air) report text of multiple slides collapsing on top of each other when either the swipe action on the Mac Pro is used or the Mouse is used to navigate between slides on the Mac Air. Both users running Safari 5.1.4.

Both users also report that keyboard navigation works fine.

Mouse navigation on a PC running Safari 5.1.4 does not appear to be enabled ( I neither set it up, nor exclude it in the files).

Thanks.

@carywreams Do you have a link to something I can play with?

Also, what is a "swipe" action in the context of a Mac Pro? Swipe to me indicates a touch device action of swiping, on devices like the iPhone and iPad. I'm not sure what it is supposed to mean on a desktop computer. Thanks.

I asked same question. Was told it was a feature in "Lion" and an
option on his system.

Will see what I can do to make a link visible. Behind a login at this point.

online at : http://inpowering.coreclarity.net/i72.php

..and the explanations I received from my Mac Pro user after telling him to
use the keyboard arrow keys.

  1. i'll give it a shot...actually i am just swiping with my fingers on my
pad...it is a feature of Lion on Mac

...so I asked if he meant iPad, when he said "pad", his response :

  1. Nope Mac Pro. But on my computer is a place where i can swipe to
move....but the arrows are working fine for now

Thanks,
Cary

@carywreams Ah, ok this is interesting. I can see the problem and will try to track down what's causing it. As for your swiper, the swiping he is doing is the same swiping that has been in OSX for who knows how long. A swipe is just a scroll, and he is scrolling horizontally, not changing the slides. That's actually what the problem is, this scrolling should be prevented by deck but isn't in your case. When it's fixed, his swipe gesture should result in nothing happening.

@carywreams Wow, ok I'm not even sure how this hasn't been reported before. I've tracked it down and will be making a few changes tomorrow (late here right now). Thanks for the report.

@carywreams Please try the latest version of deck.core.css on master. I have some other non-bug related changes I'm looking to make before this hits the stable branch.

I've put it up on the site. Will ask my two Mac users to preview.
Thanks again.

Mac Pro swiper: "now, nothing happens when I swipe". Thanks.
