I added the ability to disable the connection through the ssl protocol

The changes look OK, and I appreciate them. I wonder what the use case is, though? Local testing or a private server where you don't bother with SSL? I'd be surprised to find a public server that didn't require SSL, so I'm just curious.

My case is to use imapautofiler in our office internal server that not have SSL, but there is also public hosting service offers mail service without SSL.
