When I sync the mailboxes in the names of folders that have Cyrillic characters
I'm getting invalid names in the console (utf8)
need to re-encode the output of utf7 in utf8

Hello Alex

Invalid names or just unrecognizable?
utf-7 (modified) is the way all folders names are encoded in IMAP
so you have to use that encoding to select folders with imapsync.
So utf-8 conversion is just sugar for the console.

Until then, in imapsync/W/learn/ directory you have a tool to convert the output listing of imapsync
