ImageAnnotator: channel color mode is very slow

Showing individual channels and switching between them is fast. However, enabling "color mode", e.g. showing a composite image with multiple images, is very slow. It can take several minutes to show such an image, and sometimes the plugin even shuts down.

Hi thanks for the report, I will see if I can find a quick fix for it. Besides that, I am thinking about replacing the image viewer and annotation tool with itk-vtk-viewer, here is a demo: https://imjoy.io/lite?plugin=oeway/ImJoy-Plugins:itk-vtk-viewer

It seems it already have support for multi-channel 2D/3D image, and it has nice contrast stretching tools. We need to figure out how to enable annotation widgets (https://kitware.github.io/vtk-js/examples/PaintWidget.html) and export into geojson format.
