Hey, thanks for reporting this issue! Looks like it is specific to snap. Can you try installing the app using the binary downloaded from the site? https://altair.sirmuel.design/#download
|
Turns out snap doesn't support auto update via the github provider, since Snapcraft would manage the auto updates itself. |
I just stumbled upon this. Although this was fixed in v2.4.4, the version in Snapcraft is v2.4.3, so it still doesn't work. See https://snapcraft.io/altair Any reason the new versions aren't in snapcraft yet? P.S. also, latest/edge is way behind latest/stable. If you aren't going to use the edge channel, you should probably close it so that people don't accidentally install v1.8.0
|
Thanks @zevdg for that clarification. I don't personally use the snap install (don't use a linux) but I'll take a look at the issue with snapcraft not publishing the assets. |
I've been able to fix the snap build process, and v2.4.7 (the current version, not a new version) is released, which should fix the issue. |
I'm also experiencing this issue on 2.4.9 |
same issue on 2.4.10 |
same issue on 2.4.11 |
