Plugin Preferences

Log Level

Change this setting to configure which messages will be displayed in the Indigo console log. Generally Info is fine unless you are troubleshooting an issue, in which case you can choose Debug for most debug logging or Thread Debug for extremely detailed logging. Note that debug logging will likely include a massive amount of logging that could slow your system down, only use this under extreme circumstances.

Low Battery Warning %

This allows HomeKit Bridge to raise alerts on your HomeKit when a device's battery level falls below this number. For this alert to occur the Indigo device must utilize a battery and report on its percentage and the HomeKit device must support the alert (i.e., Motion Sensor).

In this example your HomeKit icon will show an exclamation on the screen indicating there is a problem with the device and when you tap on it for more details it will tell you there is a low battery when your battery falls to 20% or less.

Camera Settings

Every camera and every camera system is slightly different and you may need to change some of the settings to dial in your cameras for smoother streaming. These settings impact all cameras and if you change them you will need to reload any servers that have cameras on them for the settings to be reflected in HomeKit.

Camera Bitrate

The bitrate of the camera in kbit/s that you want to stream at. You might think higher is better, and in some cases it is, but bear in mind that if you are using something like SecuritySpy that increasing this setting could overload your SecuritySpy software and cause worse performance.

Camera Packet Size

You can use any value between 188 and 1316 in increments of 188. By default the largest packet size is already used but you can reduce this if you find that your video is choppy.

Enable Camera Stream Debugging

When checked all of your cameras will report streaming debug data to the Homebridge Log (found under Advanced Plugin Actions or in the config folder) so you can dial in your camera settings.
