Some people are loading the influxdb-admin site from locations that are blocked from broader internet access. The Admin site should have all assets locally so that it can be used in isolation.

+1 This also helps with 100% SSL Connections.

Otherwise I get mixed content :(

OMG yes. hard-linking to http or https is causing me headaches.

local assets yes please. in my case not because of firewall, but just because it allows me to familiarize myself with the code being used, make me feel safer and allows me to inspect & patch easier.

One more vote for this! Would be handy in various VM installation where there is a gateway present (e.g. NATed connection) but not upstream access to the Internet.
