Access to the datastore means that its possible to integrate popmon in almost any workflow. To give an example, one could store the histogram data in a PostgreSQL database and load that from Grafana and benefit from its visualisation and alert handling features (e.g. send an email or slack message upon alert).

An update on this topic. In principle, popmon is not tied to any specific visualization tool (report of application). Similar to Grafana, Kibana or similar tools could be used to extend the utility of popmon for teams that have adopted the ELK stack.

Directions demonstrating how loading the popmon datastore into Elasticsearch/Kibana and other tools could be a great entry point for those teams.
