What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Connect MinimOSD without TX
2.Configure all SR parameters to send data without request according to trouble
shooting wiki on original MinimOSD (not extra)
3.All is working we get information on OSD
4. Arm Arducopter, result - OSD Gets stuck

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Once armed no data is updated on OSD, what might indicate its the OSD is that
even the time counter gets stuck.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MinimOSD-extra 2.2 and arducopter 2.9.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm seeing the same with Arducopter 3.0.1 and MinimOSD-extra r621. Its fine
until I arm the copter - then the OSD display freezes everything including the
time.

Was this problem ever resolved?

I am experiancing the same problem.
One very odd addendum is that my minum's I have tried two! seem to work indoors
without issue but when I go out to the fiels it freeses as soon as I arm the
APM!!
Things I have tried
1) Running 5v from a seperate beck
2) Running with 5V only
3) Running with and without 3DR
4) Running with TX plugged in and without

I have two minimOSD's 1.1 boards running from an APM 2.5 using Mission Planner
1.3.12
with Minimosd extra 2.2 on a Large Hexa

Any help would be much apreciated
