What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. flash using CT for MinimOSD Extra 2.2
2. use MinimOSD Extra Plane 2.2.hex firmware
3. use OSD_charset.mcm
4. setup APM 2.5 with arduplane 2.7.3 with wiki instructions
https://code.google.com/p/minimosd-extra/wiki/APM
5. connect and boot up

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected everything to boot up and show data fields selected after firmware
update in the tool. I expec virtual horizon to look like a line made of dashes.

I see: after booting up I can see virtual horizon respond but no data in any
other field. Virtual horizon responds, but instead of dashes I see either
nothing or some gibberish in their place. but everything moves according to APM
orientation perfectly well. I had the same problem with minimosd (without
extra) firmware,I saw horizon, gps status and mode but no numeric field like
speed or heading or altitude.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
CT for MinimOSD Extra 2.2 tool
        MinimOSD Extra Plane 2.2.hex firmware

Please provide any additional information below.
APM 2.5 with arduplane 2.7.3.

Here is a link to a video I made describing this problem. This is minimosd
firmware, but the situation is 100% the same. same APM setup, same board, all
setup according to this wiki.

Hi,

Does it works now?

It is important, that you use the right character set and CT forthe FW you use.
It will not work if this 3 criteria does not met.

Also check your SR parameters: https://code.google.com/p/minimosd-extra/wiki/APM
