This release does not add new functionality and it is an optional bugfix release.

I have noticed some issues on my testing board where occasionally a full row of pieces can be lost. This version adjusts the scanning code to make it more reliable to those kind of issues. You don't need to update from R8 to R9 if you thing you are not affected by problems like this.

The version is valid for V1 as well as V2 modules.

You have to put the update file on your SD card (update_0xf72f3e9b.bin) and follow the usual update instructions
