Update Instructions

Linux - CollateralNode bootstrap

  • Bootstrap for Innova Linux hot CollateralNode.
  • Run following command lines:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/innova-foundation/innova/master/bootstrap.sh
bash bootstrap.sh

Note:

  • Synchronization time may vary of your VPS hardware and network performance.
  • bootstrap.sh is build to update your wallet at default /root/.innova/ folder, so if you using different folder please feel free to modify it.
  • It will also remove files peers.dat and debug.log from your .innova folder.

If you get a St_13runtime_error relating to the innovanamesindex.dat please follow these instructions INSTEAD

  1. Head to your Innova Core folder location of your respective Operating System.

Linux:
~/.innova/

MacOS:
~/Library/Application Support/Innova/

Windows:
%APPDATA%\Innova

(This defaults to C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Innova on Windows XP and to C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Innova on Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10.)

  1. Backup your wallet.dat (and your collateralnode.conf if you have any Collateral Nodes).

  2. Delete the Innova Core folder.

  3. Download v4.3.9.5 and run. Allow the software to regenerate all the files and start to sync.

  4. It is recommended to allow full sync beforehand but you can at any time shutdown the wallet during sync and replace the wallet.dat file with your backup as well as add your collateralnode.conf file.

  5. Re-run the wallet after replacing them files.
