It may be a permissions issue. Can you allow read/write access on the repository you downloaded?

Ok I will check it for linux, but for windows it has full permission over the repo, still it can't connect to docker

On windows:
1 - Open c-ninja-listings folder in vs code
2 - It'll ask for authorization. Click Ok.
3 - Now run dev container

This is what worked for me
