Some plots require no error bars, so an option for interval_fun should be NA/NULL.
Mean plots should have option for a continuous scale x-axis (rather than current discrete approach). I'm also leaning towards this being the default expectation.

Just an update that DSG have endorsed the addition of time-based scale axes as an option to templates alongside the current categorical nominal visit option
